In my opinion the book starts on page 125.
The first part of the book is all about how THE LAW does not work. If the reader accepts that premise, then there is no need to have it proven over and over. I would have organized the book with the new law in front and the discussions of the old law in the back.

Not everybody who buys the book knows what the Law of Total Tricks states and how it is supposed to work at the table. And even fewer people know the correct figures for how often total trumps really equal total tricks. Therefore, we decided to present the material in the order we did.
